The Cottage

Our new self-catering 6-sleeper Cottage features a double volume open plan layout with an indoor fireplace and covered patio with braai area.

Nestling between large deciduous trees about 20m from the main house, it enjoys sunlight in Winter making it quite warm even without lighting the fire and the dappled shade in Summer keeps it cool.

There is a double bed on the ground floor adjacent to the seating area with another 2 double beds in semi-private spaces above. The kitchenette has a 2-burner gas stove, bar fridge, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and a variety of glasses.

The Cottage has it’s own dedicated “donkey” powered by a rocket stove – we’re happy to stoke it for you a few times a day or we can show you how to make piping hot water yourself, bush-style!
